I'll start by saying I have no kids, I bought these to use at my place of business on a large indoor chalkboard and an outdoor sandwichboard. There's one thing about ordering chalk to be shipped to me that causes pause and slight worry: Will it arrive intact, with no chalk sticks broken? TOYSCAMP packaged the three packs well, with paper padding that was enough to prevent the packs from bumping around during transit, and all three packs arrived with not a single broken piece. I'd been looking for color chalk locally for a while, every craft and office store I went to only had the LARGE sticks intended for drawing on the sidewalk. Though I bought one of those big packs, I never stopped thinking about the small chalks as they're much easier to handle so I can get more intricate with writing and sketching on the board. The "dustless" advertisement of Alex Color Chalk brand also was appealing as chalk dust can quickly accummulate around the board in our workplace! The only drawback I've seend with Alex Color Chalk is its ability to withstand rain on an outdoor sandwich board -- the sidewalk chalks always reappear with little fading, while the Alex chalks do fade and require rewrite/redraw. So, for indoor or sunny day exterior use, they're wonderful! The colors are also more vibrant overall than the sidewalk chalks, giving another reason that they're very appealing to use.
